Aaron N. Hall is the author of The Legends of Uh, the Wevlian Chronicles, the Hammerfist series, and multiple collections of stories and poems. If he’s not writing (which isn’t often), he’s probably watching a documentary, lifting heavy things, reading a book, or sipping a Dr. Pepper. He lives in Utah.
The Long Version
Aaron N. Hall learned that he loved storytelling at the tender age of nine. In the formative years following, he wrote poems, songs, and episodic stories for his friends until he began work on his first novel, Foreordained, at age fifteen. By the time he graduated high school, the book’s first draft was complete.
After high school, Aaron spent two years on a spiritual sabbatical in New England before returning home to complete a bachelors degree in public relations. After completing his missionary service and education, he began work on more stories.
Since then, he’s completed the heartwarming YA fantasy comedy, The Legend of Uh; the epic Christian fantasy trilogy, The Wevlian Chronicles; the tongue-in-cheek superhero satire, The Hammerfist series; and multiple collections of stories and poems, including I’m Sorry, Here’s a Plasma Rifle, Love Letters to a House on Fire, and Where Should I Put This Woodpecker?.
Today, Aaron has sold tens of thousands of books worldwide, and was awarded the BroMantasy Community Book Award for Best Fantasy in 2025 for The Legend of Uh. As an online personality, he’s followed by over half a million people across all social media platforms.
Aaron believes that storytelling is a vehicle for empathy and understanding. As such, he believes everyone deserves access to books, reflective of his work with the 501c3 nonprofit, Operation Literacy.
